Empowering Caregivers, Strengthening Communities
The Tennessee Caregiver Coalition (TCC) is proud to introduce the Caregiver Ambassador Program, a dedicated initiative designed to support and advocate for family caregivers across Tennessee. Our Ambassadors are caregivers themselves, committed to increasing awareness, providing outreach, and leading advocacy efforts that directly impact the lives of caregivers in our communities.
What is the Caregiver Ambassador Program?
The Caregiver Ambassador Program is a grassroots effort to build a strong network of caregivers who can connect, share resources, and advocate for change. Each year, TCC selects Ambassadors from Knoxville, Memphis, Chattanooga, and Nashville to serve as local representatives for caregiver support and legislative advocacy.
As part of their role, Ambassadors:
Get Involved
Are you a caregiver looking to make a difference? We invite you to attend one of our events, connect with a Caregiver Ambassador in your area, or explore opportunities to advocate for policies that support family caregivers.
Attend an Event: Join our Ambassadors at local events to learn more about caregiver resources.
Advocate for Caregivers: Support our legislative efforts by engaging with policymakers.
Share Your Story: Your voice matters. Help us spread awareness by sharing your caregiver journey.
Our Legislative Priorities for 2025
The Tennessee Caregiver Coalition is committed to advocating for policies that provide essential support to caregivers. Our top legislative priorities this year include:
Paid Caregiving: Ensuring that family caregivers who provide essential care receive financial support and recognition for their work.
Paid Caregiver Leave: Advocating for paid family leave policies that allow caregivers to take time off to care for loved ones without financial hardship.
