Caring for the Caregiver Law – Tennessee Department of Disability and Aging
Tennessee caregivers providing care for family members diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia can now apply for state-funded financial assistance of up to $6,000. Caregivers can apply for the funding through their local area agency on aging and disability. For a county map of TN agencies local to you and contact information, visit the link above.
Faithful Friends

Faithful Friends Dementia Care is a respite care program specifically for people living with dementia. Faithful Friends will be located at Real Life Sango church in Clarksville, TN. This program will be two days a week for four hours a day and will provide people living with dementia with a loving, supportive, and engaging environment that they can thrive in and enjoy being involved in.

The Aging Commission of the Mid-South contracts with senior centers in our four counties service area to provide a wide range of supportive services. Most centers are focal points in the community for those over age of 60.

Dementia Health Navigator Program – Upper Cumberland Development District

The Dementia Navigator Program provides education, resources, and one-on-one navigation for caregivers of persons living with dementia or Alzheimer’s and their care recipients.
