Bilingual Respite Coordinator

Rev. RJ Robles is the Bilingual Outreach Coordinator of the Tennessee Respite Coalition. They hold a Master of Divinity (M.Div) from Vanderbilt University and have worked as a case manager for over a decade in the sectors of nonprofits, government, healthcare, higher educational institutions, and grassroots collectives. One of RJ’s most notable work was the creation and launching of a trans healthcare peer to peer support program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He currently serves on the board of Nashville’s LaunchPad and Trans Aid Nashville. As an ordained minister, RJ actively serves the Social Justice Ministry of New Covenant Christian Church, in North Nashville. In their spare time, RJ enjoys spending time with their partner, reading, writing, doing local karaoke, and sharing poetry at open mics.
